Microwave Drawer Trim Kit Request Form
Microwave drawer trim kits have many more nuances than a regular microwave trim kit, therefore RARELY will they fit a retrofit situation (existing cabinetry)
one of the nuances is that the door thickness on microwave drawers is much thicker than a traditional microwave drawer
you can not make a trim kit to match the door thickness of the microwave drawers and mount it on the cabinet fascia properly, so the cabinet depth has to be deep enough to allow the drawer to be pushed back the difference in depth (so the cabinet needs to be deeper than the microwave drawer specification by approx. 1 ½”)
the power location also has to be in the EXACT specified location in order to do this because the microwave drawers are manufactured with a recessed area to accept the electrical outlet
Please e-mail us a clear, HIGH-RESOLUTION picture (1 MB+) of the microwave cabinet opening and the surrounding cabinetry (left, right, top & bottom) so we can confirm the exact size trim kit you need
