The answer is, nobody should buy black stainless steel finishes.
It's just an oxide coating and is easily scratchable, leaving the shiny undercoating. It cannot be repaired and is not warrantied as it is considered cosmetic by the manufacturer.
The color can also NOT be matched, so you can not get a microwave trim kit or wall oven filler strip.
So again, the right answer is DO NOT buy black stainless steel finishes.
Buy stainless steel and you can get any trim kit you need.
